MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE INFORMATION

Hardrock is one of the premier mountain bike facilities in the Southeast. There are 6 miles of mountain bike trails with 20 elevation changes and a suspension bridge. Effective January 2003, the mountain bike trails are closed to open practice sessions.  The only mountain bike practice will be in conjunction with scheduled race events listed below.

Mountain Bike riders may use the Hardrock Cycle Park facility during the following hours, unless otherwise stated.

2003 Heaven & Hell Duathlon's by Showtime Promotions

January 18 - Practice 10 am
Janurary 19 - Race 10 am
February 22 - Practice 10 am
Feburary  23 - Race 10  am

Heavens - 2mi run - 6mi bike - 1mi run is the perfect start for beginners. HELL - 4mi run - 12mi bike -2mi run , features some of the best single track anywhere. HELL is a great team event. The run offers rope climbs and some tough terrain, don't forget your gloves. This is just a warm-up for Hard Rock-Off-Road Triathlons on Mar. 23rd. "A Nissan Xterra Points Series Race"
